GVW 35,000 kgHGV

FAQs on the 3532C HX
Still have questions?
Ask about on-road price, variant specs, dealers near you or finance. The trucks-india.com desk replies within one working day.
The BharatBenz 3532C HX costs about Rs 64.94 lakh to Rs 70 lakh ex-showroom. On-road price is higher because RTO tax, insurance and registration get added on top, and those change by state. Ask two or three dealers in your city, because discounts differ.
The BharatBenz 3532C HX gives about 3 kmpl. Your actual figure depends on load, road condition and driving style. With a 260 litre tank, that is roughly 780 km on one full tank.
Rated payload is 22,000 kg. Gross vehicle weight is 35,000 kg, which is the truck plus the load together. Stay inside this figure. Overloading breaks springs and tyres early and invites fines at the check post.
The BharatBenz 3532C HX uses a 7,200 cc diesel engine, 320 HP, 1,250 Nm of torque. It meets BS VI norms.
Gross vehicle weight is 35,000 kg, or about 35 tonnes. GVW is the total allowed weight of the truck plus body plus goods, and it decides which licence and permit you need.
It is mainly used for mining, quarry, construction and earthmoving. If your daily load and route match that kind of work, this truck fits.
It comes with a 9 Speed Manual Heavy Duty gearbox. A manual gearbox keeps the running cost and the repair bill lower, and most workshops can handle it.
Yes, air conditioning is part of the cabin. That matters on long runs in summer, and drivers stay with the job longer when the cabin is comfortable.
It has 12 tyres in a 8X4 layout. Tyre size is 11R20 / 12.00R20.
BharatBenz gives a manufacturer warranty on this truck. The exact months and kilometre limit change by model and state, so get it in writing from your dealer at the time of booking.
The closest options at this size are Tata Prima 3530.K SRT (35,000 kg GVW, from about Rs 65 lakh), Ashok Leyland AVTR 3532 8x2 (35,000 kg GVW, from about Rs 65.5 lakh) and Eicher pro 8035XM (35,000 kg GVW, from about Rs 64 lakh). Compare payload, mileage and the service network on your own route before you decide, because those three decide your cost per km more than the sticker price does.
The BharatBenz 3532C HX has a GVW of 35,000 kg, above the 7,500 kg light motor vehicle limit, so the driver needs a heavy goods vehicle transport licence. An ordinary LMV (car) licence does not cover it.
